Sérgio Luís Lopes Júnior has created IEs 4 Linux, a package that gives you Internet Explorer 6, 5.5, 5 on Linux, so you can test with those browsers in development.
IEs4Linux downloads localized IE6 CAB files from Microsoft site. Usingcabextract we get all files needed and copy them to a special winefolder. Some MS updates are also downloaded.
To install IE5.5 or IE5, the base IE6 installation is copied and somespecific dlls are replaced. Those files are obtained from Evolt BrowserArchive.
To install Flash9, we download a CAB from Adobe, parse its inf file dynamically and install everything on top of each wine.
